I love seeing home office set up ideas and when I find one that I truly like, I make sure I keep a photo of it to share. The following photos are found in Apartment Therapy web site. It is a home office nook in a very small apartment.
Don’t you just love the simplicity of the nook? I love how the desk is so small yet so functional, too!
Use this idea if you only have a very small space to spare at home for your office.
We have lived in Quezon City all our lives. My parents grew up in this city, at the same neighborhood we are still in right now. Unlike other families eager to leave the city for a more quiet life, we are content living here. Not exactly at the same residence we have right now, but in the city that has everything within reach.
We have been planning on moving to another residence. God willing, soon. But then moving doesn’t mean we will be transferring to another city or to nearby provinces. We are actually thinking of moving three blocks away, to a quiet neighborhood. Still in Quezon City.
I don’t think we can ever call another place home. QC for us is where you can find all you need. Schools, hospitals, entertainment establishments, restaurants, bars, malls… almost everything you think of! We may not like the mayor who’s always asleep. But we like the city all the same.
Quezon City is home to us. Always.
Quezon City was a big ball of smoke back on the eve of the New Year. Almost every other corner of the city was filled with firecrackers. In our street alone, two businesses had a “showdown” of who had the most Judas belt in their arsenal. I think it’s about an hour of deafening blast after blast from them.
I am really praying that QC will be a better city. I do hope the mayor will really focus on the betterment of the city. I do think Libis can be QC’s Ayala Avenue. Cubao can be a better business district, too, if given the right focus by the people concerned.
Happy New Year to all! Let’s all pray for a better Quezon City this 2014!
It’s not really advisable to wander around the city at night. But I still do so whenever it’s necessary. Out in the streets at night, one has to be on alert. You can never be too complacent, too trusting. You always has to be on your toes for the crooks and the bad vibes around.
But, as I said, whenever necessary, I still go out at night and when I know it is safe, I bask in the feeling of being outside! That’s what I would do whenever I was in Baguio City. The old Baguio City, that is. Nowadays, I was told by locals that Baguio City at night is the same as in Metro Manila. Tsk. Sadly, the crooks managed to penetrate my adopted hometown. Sigh.
Maybe, one of these days, I will be able to roam the streets at night in other cities outside the country. Hopefully…
I just love city at dusk. There is peace hanging in the air. Somewhat. Not really peace but a truce, to be honest about it. I love how leisurely everyone goes on in whatever they are doing. I love how cars are now speeding by so fast!
There is just something magical in the city at dusk.
Don’t you think so?
